Charts Shown Here is Sensex Charts with Bear Market Swings of 2000-2001 and 2008-2009.Both the bear markets extends more than a year. And the Bear Market 2000-2001 shows four primary down swings(Sell off). Normally a bear market have 4-5 primary sell off. And in 2008-2009 bear season we had already seen three primary sell off. Now the question remaining is are we in the fouth sell off season?

The Answer is possibly yes. And Each Primary of 2008-2009 Bear market sell off extends 10-11 weeks with minimum 5000 points(from high) in sensex washed out in every primary downswing(see charts as shown above ). And Right now we are in the fifth week of the primary sell off swing. Looks still 5-6 Weeks(25-30 Trading Sessions) remaining for the fourth primary downswing to end. If the time period of the primary sell off is going to be 10-11 weeks then the downside looks unimaginable!!!
