1)Nifty Opened with a Gap up outside the previous days range. And cleared the Prominent POC at 7794 in the first few seconds after open. On the downside it cleared the Prominent POC reference zone – 7741.
2)The Opening Confidence was good. we thought of Open Test Drive initially but then later the auction turned around to OAOR (Open Auction Out of Range)
3)Day was tough to trade both longs and shorts
4)both Hourly sentiment(intraday bias) and EOD sentiment holds positive at the market close and the value area formed overlapping to higher which suggests no shorts to be carry fwded and we also haven’t carry fwd-ed longs due to the aged trend.
5)Poor Low formation at 7736 and Weak High carry fwding for next day at 7793. This pattern also suggests possibility of fading both the weak high and poor lows in the shorter run.
5)Day type is a normal day.
6)My two Long trades attempted towards 7800 ends in failure SL got hit in both the trades (lost 15 points in nifty future on total). However haven’t attempted any shorts intraday.
