Chart Setup Procedure

Note : There will a small variation with the spot price and GCI MT4 price because GCI quotes the latest value along with Spread margin as GCI charge brokerage in interms of Spread Margin. So GCI Price = Latest Price + Spread Margin.

Thanks for sharing this one. Which will be really helpful without a doubt. But I feel GCI/Metatrader has some numerical difference from the actual market rates. Checked it with Nifty Future & it;s surely there. But thanks anyway for this excellent post.

Yes !! there is lag …. more than spread of 5 points … also some times candle readings are diffrent for OHLC …
Does any one knows can we feed NSE data to MT4 platform atleast for NIFTY ? Some guys are selling this for 20000 for software + 4000 for live data …:P
Yes, me too looking for mt4 free feed..presently using GCI for nifty. Motive wave is good as for data but the free version is restrictive as to features. Here is good indicator for mt4…give it a try….http://codebase.mql4.com/7497/page3#38272. Thanks to this website for free feed info.

Thank you for providing the link and directions to download and instal MT4 provided by GCI. I have downloaded and installed it in my machine. My Demo account no is 397203. Till !st Oct, 2012 I was getting the real-time data and the charts were working. However, since then I am not getting the charts. They are stuck on Oct 1, 2012. Kindly guide me as to how I can get my account activated again. I find the charts very useful in my trading activity and I am now handicapped by its non-functioning. Please help.

Is it possible to change the time settings in GCI MT4? The time shown is not IST (GMT + 5:30)
When indian market starts, the time shown in the chart is 23:45
MT4 by default doesnt supports IST timings and you can shift the timing settings in MT4 and more over timing settings are decided by the FXbroker.

I have been using MT4 Demo account provided by GCI Trading. Now the problem is: I am not getting data ( live feeds ) It stopped at Oct 2012. My Used Id 397203. Please guide me how to get real time feed in MT4. Thanks in advance

Sir I was using this software lot earlier. I tried it yesterday and not able to find any of the script of nifty .. and nifty as well. I tried reinstalling the same but it’s not working. Only nasdaq and dow listed stocks are coming in the chart.
It will be really help full for me if you can guide me to get those.
