Nifty is currently trading near 5780 and any attempt to close above 5740 on EOD basis will result in Buy Signal on Nifty Supertrend EOD charts. i.e Nifty needs to maintain above 5740 till the day ends

You have given very good picture of plus and minus features of trading thru 5-min Nifty charts. For example, success rate is 42% and longest continuous losses numbered eight as shown thru back-testing.

It will be very useful if you would kindly give us a similar picture of plus and minus points for EOD Nifty trading. For example, when a Buy (or Sell) signal occurs during the day as on Nov 29 for Nifty), should the actual Buy take place the same day or the next day; and how many continuous losses are there in EOD Nifty trading. This would be of special help for small or inexperienced traders in the initial stages.

    Thanks.

    Hi Raj,

I have been having a question to ask for a long time. I am using your Nifty and BNK Futures on your website and if I compare the SL for both 5 M and 15 M they are very different. I use Manshi RT data for my Amibroker but your LIVE chart page has always quite a few points difference in terms of SL and signal trigger. Appreciate if you can explain why. Might help me tune things up ! Thanks again.

    Regards/Swetal

      Hi Swetal,

The difference is there because of the difference of the Historical Backfill. Manshi uses backfill for
      only near month backfill data i.e Historical data will be ( Jul2012 + Aug 2012 + Sep 2012 + Nov 2012 + Dec 2012)

and my datafeed uses only historical datafeed for only for that current contact .Dec 2012 contract will contain historical datafeed for Dec 2012 contract only ( i.e Dec 2012 contains historical data of Dec2012 contract during Sep 2012 + Dec2012 contract during Nov2012 + dec 2012 contract during 2012 data)….similar for all the contracts.

Thats the real reason for the difference between your datafeed and mine.

Anything about how many continuous losses to expect for EOD trading — either thru backtesting or thru actual trades?
